the warmth begins in my toes until my cheeks are flushed i take a long sip of confidence and let my fingers brush the wrist of a strange boy i've never met. i bend, arch my back, stretching for a lemon. my neck near his mouth i feel him inhale, exhale. hot breath the parting of lips. i move back and bite the lemon and he watches.
